About the Lodge
Who We Are
Many aspire, few achieve.
Since our founding in 1914, Sunnyside Masonic Lodge No. 163 has been a beacon of Masonic light in the southeastern quadrant of the Portland Metro area.
Our lodge–and Freemasonry in general–is composed of men from different walks of life who come together for one common goal: To make good men better through the philosophical teachings of Freemasonry.
What we do
As a lodge, we are committed to providing a solid foundation of Masonic understanding from a philosophical point of view. This is inward understanding and improvement of one’s self is then manifested to the world through the various charities we support. Some of our efforts include:
- Contributions to the Masonic Student Assistance Program
- Little League team sponsorships
- Masonic Home Endowment Fund donations
- Annual contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Where We Meet
We meet at the Washington Masonic Center located at 3612 SE 52nd Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
Our Stated Meeting is on the second Saturday of every month. Pastries are served at 9:00 am with the Stated Meeting opening at 10:00 am, followed by our famous brunch.
Brothers are more than encouraged to bring their friends and family.
